Facts and Figures
• Helps over 3,000 youth a year become the first member of the family to attend college;
• Leads a partnership which reduces the risk of substance abuse for over 1500 Asian/Pacific Islander youth a year;
• Provides affordable toddler and preschool care;
• Provides leadership development and community service opportunities for youth from the Japantown community;
• Puts over 2,000 youth a year to work through our employment programs, including providing job training to youth in the juvenile justice system;
• Provides internship opportunities for Japanese American college students to learn about community issues and organizations;
• Since 1971, provides summer day camp for elementary and middle school children.
• Has grown to annually serve over 6,000 children and youth from all ethnic backgrounds in the San Francisco Bay Area.
